I can't remember when I didn't love to draw and paint.  My parent's home is filled with my artwork over many decades and I have a home studio overflowing with half-finished paintings and other projects that I'll (probably) eventually revisit.  I attended my first 'real' art class in the summer following seventh grade...an oil painting class; and though I consider myself to be self-taught, over the years I've enjoyed learning about art history, painting principles, and new techniques & tools through various in-person and online classes.  I even tried my hand at pottery!  Next up is a months-long Adobe course that I need to re-start and complete so that I can incorporate graphic design into my portfolio.
